Restore texture. Rebuild confidence.
What is it?
Fractional CO₂ is Harmony’s most intensive skin resurfacing treatment, designed to dramatically improve texture, scarring, and dermal damage.
The laser works by creating microscopic columns of controlled trauma in the skin, which triggers deep collagen remodelling. At Harmony, this process is paired with ASCE+ exosomes — clinically formulated stem cell messengers — to accelerate healing and improve long-term outcomes.
Together, they don’t just smooth the surface. They stimulate your skin to rebuild from within.
What does it treat?
This treatment is used to address:
- Acne scarring (boxcar, rolling, and ice pick)
- Enlarged pores and rough texture
- Crepey skin and fine lines
- Sun damage and dermal pigmentation
Note: This treatment is never used on unstable or inflamed skin.
Barrier and Inflammation must be confirmed as stable before we proceed.
Who is it for?
Patients who say:
“I hate how uneven my skin looks under makeup.”
“My scars make me look tired even when I’m well rested.”
“I just want skin that doesn’t need covering.”
This treatment is often used by patients who have already tried multiple skin solutions with minimal impact, and are ready for structural, regenerative change.
How does it work?
Step | What it does | Why we do it |
---|---|---|
1. Laser Delivery | Micro-columns of CO₂ energy penetrate the skin | Triggers deep collagen and elastin production |
2. ASCE+ Exosomes | Applied directly post-laser | Reduces inflammation, speeds recovery, enhances skin regeneration |
3. LED Therapy | Soothes the skin and stimulates ATP | Minimises downtime and supports healthy immune activity |
Optional: Subcision + Filler | Releases deep scars tethered to underlying tissue | Allows smoother resurfacing in later stages |
Optional: RF Microneedling | Stimulates dermal tightening without removing surface layers | Ideal for treating dermal thinning or widespread laxity |
What’s the treatment plan?
Your plan may include:
- Pre-laser skin strengthening (2–4 weeks): to stabilise the barrier and reduce downtime
- Subcision + filler (if deep scarring is present): to release tethered scars before resurfacing
- Fractional CO₂ + Exosomes: precision-mapped treatment across the full face or targeted areas
- LED therapy: to reduce immune reactivity and support healing
- Second-layer treatment (e.g. RF microneedling): for advanced scarring or dermal thinning
Treatment is staged. You’ll be guided through each step by our team.
How does it feel?
- 5–7 days of redness, peeling, and tightness
- Mild swelling and heat on the day
- A visible shift in texture, tightness, and clarity by week 2–4
Why we pair it with exosomes
Laser triggers controlled injury. Exosomes trigger controlled regeneration.
ASCE+ exosomes used at Harmony are derived from plant stem cells, with strong data behind their role in:
- Boosting collagen and elastin
- Reducing inflammation and redness
- Accelerating wound repair
- Improving long-term skin architecture
The result: deeper regeneration, faster recovery, and skin that functions better.
Things to know
- Not suitable if skin is inflamed, sensitised or compromised
- Must pause active products 7–10 days prior
- Fitzpatrick IV–VI patients may require pigment prep
- Barrier and Inflammation status will be assessed before planning
